FRAMINGHAM – After 9 months of providing nightly meals the Faith in Food Collaborative has shifted our priority to operating a food pantry on the north side of Framingham.

For some reason there is the stereotype that if you live on the north side there isn’t a need. We get asked what the requirements are and how we base need?

Some of us involved have been that person or family that has been “in need” at some point in our lives. We understand that it is difficult to ask for help, how it can make someone feel and the stigma that can be attached.

All of our items (food, toiletries, cleaning supplies and paper goods) come from donations within the community.

Please feel free to stop by on Fridays from 4 to 6 p.m. at First United Methodist Church at 360 Water Street in Framingham or contact us at jajeb1@hotmail.com.

Our answer to the questions is simple, Who are we to judge and our motto: Nourishment without judgement.
