BOSTON – An elevated fire weather potential will continue today across Massachusetts, including MetroWest today, March 15, according to the National Weather Service out of Boston/Norton.

This means there is a chanced for brush fires today.

The alert had been high on Saturday & Sunday.

The alert is elevated due to relative humidity dropping between 15 and 25 percent in the afternoon, and northwest winds gusting between 25 and 35 mph with a few gusts up to 40 mph.
