FRAMINGHAM – The award-winning Framingham High marching band began rehearsals for the first time this 2020-21 school year yesterday, March 9.

Drum majors this year for the Flyers Marching Band are seniors Phoebe Nelson, Sophie Stock, Dunnivan Shea, and Aidan Beckman

Other seniors in the Framingham High marching band are Darianna Lascano (flute), Kaitlyn Schraffa (flute), Cristian Palencia (alto sax), Lucas Tuttle (tenor sax), Oakley Harrison (bari sax), Ben Mills (trumpet), Jamie Shikichi (baritone), Sonnet Shea (guard), and Yanisa Panyasai (guard)

“Our end goal is to put together a marching band show that keeps everyone involved in the activity, teaches our new members the ropes, and allows our amazing group of seniors to march with their band one more time,” said Framingham High Band Director Andy Jasinski.

The Flyers show this spring is called “Together Stronger, said Jasinski.

It features the music of Dvorak’s New World Symphony, said Jasinski.
