NATICK – Allurion Technologies yesterday, March 9, announced promotions in its Commercial Team including Benoit Chardon to Chief Commercial Officer, Camillo Docimo to Vice President of Program Excellence, and Javier Ibanez to Vice President of International Sales.

Benoit Chardon joined Allurion in 2018 with over 20 years of experience in successful new category creation and served as Vice President, Global Commercial before being promoted to Executive Vice President in 2019. As Chief Commercial Officer, Chardon will oversee Allurion’s global commercial operations and lead a variety of strategic initiatives to further accelerate growth, utilization, and territory expansion while increasing efficiencies to drive both top and bottom-line performance.

Camillo Docimo joined Allurion in 2016 with over 25 years of experience in sales, business development, and clinical affairs in the weight loss industry. As Vice President of Program Excellence, Mr. Docimo and his team will lead initiatives to increase consumer and provider satisfaction, improve program outcomes, and translate the insights from Allurion’s Virtual Care Suite into clinical practice.

Javier Ibanez joined Allurion in 2019 with over 30 years of experience in medical device sales, business development, and finance. As Vice President of International Sales, Mr. Ibanez will lead the global sales team across 40 countries today with a plan to expand to over 60 countries in the next three years.
