FRAMINGHAM – A small crowd gathered at Framingham High this evening, November 16, to advocate for the Framingham Public School District to begin in person learning now, as opposed to a potential January 2021 date.
The rally was organized by organized by Framingham High graduate Suzanne Julakis, calss of 2020, and Jared Shimelman, a member of the Framingham High Class of 2021.
The crowd was a mix of parents and students. They crowd organized that students are suffering academically and mentally with remote learning, and more than just the highest and high needs students need to be physically back in their classrooms.
One of the speakers was parent Laura Grome, who is also a nurse.
