Tree Down Causes Power Outage in Framingham & Ashland

FRAMINGHAM – A tree came down across the wires on Route 135 tonight after 11 p.m., which caused a power outage in Framingham and neighboring Ashland.

Most customers had power restored within minutes, but some customers near Wilde Avenue and the 800 block of Waverley Street are still without power.

Eversource said power should be restored to all by 2:30 a.m.

Update: Route 135 is closed at the Winter Street bridge. Framingham Bakery is open
