FRAMINGHAM – Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, most races scheduled for this year have gone to a virtual setting.

The Wayside 5K4Kids is no exception.

The virtual race will be held on Saturday, October 17, and Wayside is using the event as their biggest fundraiser, setting a goal of $100,000 raised.

Funds donated to Wayside will be used for holiday gifts for kids and families, special activities, supporting Wayside’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiative, and also emergency clothing and food distribution. Wayside uses these funds to support kids and families throughout Massachusetts.
