FRAMINGHAM – Below is a list of road construction projects in the City of Framingham this week, by the city, the state, and utilities.
All projects will be conducted in conformance with the health and safety protocols set forth by the Commonwealth and the City of Framingham.
As the situation with COVID-19 is ever-changing, construction schedules are subject to change.
All work is weather-permitting.
Beaver Street Bridge: Bridge work continues. Beaver Street Bridge will be closed to through traffic and pedestrians until Fall 2020. A detour will be in effect at all times.

Eames Street and Pratt Street Gas Main Relay – Eversource Gas: Eversource Gas will continue relaying gas main on Eames Street and Pratt Street.A one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect. Expect delays at times.
Hillcrest and Berkshire Water Main Replacement: The Water Division will begin installing water main on Hillcrest Road. Hillcrest Road and Berkshire Road will be open to residents and emergency vehicles only.
Marble Street: Miscellaneous punch list items will be addressed on Marble Street, Waverly Street (near Marble Street), and Blandin Avenue (near Marble Street). Expect minor delays.

Miscellaneous Sidewalk and Road Repairs: A City hired contractor will begin making miscellaneous sidewalk and road repairs near the following locations: Waverly Street, several locations on Blandin Avenue, South Street, Franklin Street near Park Street, Eden Street near Union Avenue, several locations on Fountain Street, Worcester Road at Vernon Street, Franklin Street at Brewster Road, Aaron Street, Concord Street at Lindbergh Road, and Leigh Street. Expect minor delays at times. Police details will be on-site to facilitate pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
Nobscot Intersection Improvements: Verizon will set new utility poles in preparation for the intersection improvements project. Expect minor delays at times.
Salem End Road at Linwood Road Sewer Main Replacement: The Sewer Division will be replacing a section of sewer main on Salem End Road at Linwood Road. Salem end Road (between Willowbrook Road and Parker Road) will be closed to through traffic. A detour will be in effect. Please seek an alternate route.

Union Avenue and Pearl Street Utilities: Miscellaneous curbing/sidewalk repair work and site cleanup/demobilization will continue. Police details will be on-site to facilitate traffic. Expect minor delays at times.
Worcester Road Water and Sewer Improvements: Miscellaneous sidewalk, curbing, and trench paving. One lane will be closed on Worcester Road/Route 9 East. Expect delays. Construction is scheduled Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
