BOSTON – Massachusetts Summer camps and child care centers will be allowed to re-open in Phase II said Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker Monday afternoon, June 1.

Gov. Baker said he would announce on June 6 when Phase II will begin. COVID-19 data will be used to make the decision. Phase I began on May 18.

“Today, I signed an executive order to clarify which businesses and sectors fall into Phase 2,” Gov. Baker said during a daily briefing at 3:30 p.m.

Camps will have “activity restrictions” however, when they re-open.
