ASHLAND – Tuesday night, two men went out on the Ashland Reservoir and capsized their boat, requiring a rescue by firefighters.

Wednesday morning, two men were dirt biking on public roadways, and one crashed in a tree and required a medical helicopter.

“This is not a vacation,” said Ashland Police Chief Vincent Alfano.

“The government and town officials have asked you to stay home for a reason. And instead, some individuals are doing reckless acts and putting themselves and first responders at risk,’ said the Chief

Follow the recommendations, and stay home, said the Chief.

“Two reckless acts in as many days,” said Chief Alfano.

The two intoxicated men are lucky to be alive, said Chief Alfano.

He said the dirt bike driver is also lucky to be alive.

“This is not the time for reckless behavior,” said the Chief.
