FRAMINGHAM – “Due to the emergency measures necessitated by the COVID-19 outbreak, the Framingham’s Top 10 exhibit will be closed to all visitors starting March 13, 2020 until further notice,” said Framingham History Center Executive Director Annie Murphy, last night at 5 p.m.

“We have also decided to temporarily postpone all public programming through the beginning of April in order to protect the well-being of our friends, visitors, volunteers, and staff,” said Murphy.

Postponed programs include:

  • Framingham’s Top 10 exhibition – Wednesday-Saturday from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
  • The Alcotts and the Marches – Sunday, March 15 at 2:00 p.m.
  • Conversation with the Curator – Wednesday, March 18 at 6:00 p.m.
  • Framingham Taverns: Then and Now – Thursday, April 2 at 6:00 p.m.

“We will be in touch with updates as we reschedule our programs and hopefully provide some virtual activities for students home from school. We do not have plans to shut down administrative operations or collections care so if you have questions or concerns please contact me at director@framinghamhistory.org ,” said Murphy.
