FRAMINGHAM – Citing health reasons, Dhruba Sen announced in his closing statement at the League of Women Voters forum tonight, August 22, that he is pausing his campaign and withdrawing from the 6th Middlesex District state representative race.
Sen was one of three Democrats who was seeking to be the Framingham State Representative for the new City of Framingham Precincts of 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-10-11-12-13-14-15-16 and a portion of Precinct 9.

In his closing statement during the one-hour forum he said he would like his supporters to vote for School Committee Chair Priscila Sousa who is battling former District 7 City Councilor Margareth Shepard for the seat.
The election is two weeks from Tuesday on September 6.
There is early voting starting Saturday and mail in voting has been happening all month.
