BOSTON – Former assistant attorney general and candidate for Attorney General Quentin Palfrey goes live today, August 23, with his new television ad “Stakes.”
The 30-second spot details Palfrey’s experience taking on predatory insurance companies as the first chief of the Healthcare Division in the Massachusetts AG’s office.
The ad also highlights Palfrey’s experience working on voter protection for President Obama, his platform to stand up for Medicare for all and abortion rights, his endorsement from the Massachusetts Demcratic Party, and his pledge to run a clean elections campaign without support from corporations or special interests.
Palfrey has put an initial $250,000 behind the advertisement, which will hit the airwaves today in the Boston, Springfield and Providence media markets, and run through the September 6 Primary Election Day.
Palfrey is a former Assistant Attorney General and was the first chief of the office’s healthcare division. He also served in senior roles in both the Obama and Biden Adiminstations, and is the founder of the Voter Protection Corps, an organization that works to combat voter suppression.
In the race for AG, Palfrey is the endorsed candidate of the Massachusetts Democratic Party, several of Massachusetts leading progressive and environmental advocacy organizations, and over 300 grassroots endorsers from communities in every county in the Commonwealth.
