FRAMINGHAM – The Joseph P. Keefe Technical High School is planning to carry out plans for both an in-person graduation and an in-person prom for the Class of 2021.
The set date for Keefe Technical High School’s graduation is Thursday, June 3.
Instead of the usual in-door ceremony located in the gymnasium at the Framingham-based school, this year the ceremony will be held outside at the Warren Conference Center in Ashland.

Each student is allowed to have two guests at the ceremony. The two guests will be allowed to sit with one another, but will be at least six feet apart from any other guests at all times.
The school also plans to host a Class of 2021 prom more than two weeks prior to graduation.
The idea is that in case any seniors end up having to quarantine, they will still be able to attend their own graduation festivities.
Regarding graduation, Keefe Technical High School Superintendent Jonathan Evans told the School Committee last night this might be a step in a new direction for future classes and graduation ceremonies if all goes well.
