WELLESLEY – Merrilee Dyer Torres, formerly of Wellesley passed away on May 12, 2021.  Beloved wife for over 56 years to Paul Richard Torres.

  Devoted mother of Kimberly Torres and her husband Michael Moscone of Westfield, NJ.  Loving grandmother of Kyle Jayden Moscone. Daughter of the late Charles Lydecker Dyer and Barbara Clapp Dyer.

Visiting Hours in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, on Saturday May 22nd from 1 to 3 p.m.

Followed by a Funeral Service at 3 p.m.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Brief reception to follow at 11 Morgan Drive, Unit 306, Natick.

Merrilee graduated from Wellesley High School in 1958 and earned her degree from Dean Junior College in 1960 where she studied Secretary Science.

She was a longtime employee of Harvard University and the American Cancer Society in Framingham.

Merrilee loved the beach, tennis, creative writing, and spending time with her family.  Painting was her true passion, and she was especially talented at it. She was very active in the Natick Community Senior Center and loved socializing with her friends there. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Merrilee may be made to Danforth Art School at 14 Vernon Street Framingham, MA 01701 or to the Natick Community Senior Center at 117 East Central Street Natick, MA 01760.
