FRAMINGHAM – Francesco “Frank” Asaro, 98, of Framingham, died on Friday, May 14, 2021 at the MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

Born in Sicily, Italy, he was the son of the late Gaspare and Antonia (Mistretta) Asaro.

Francesco was the loving husband to the late Francesca (Marrone) Asaro for 72 years.

Francesco owned and operated Frank’s Barber Shop in the Colonial Shopping Center in Framingham until his retirement at the age of 92.

Francesco is survived by his children, Antonietta “Toni” Asaro and Reno Asaro both of Framingham; grandchildren, Christopher, and Robert Asaro both of Framingham. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Piera Mistretta and her family, several nieces and nephews and many good friends.

At the request of his family, funeral Mass at St. Tarcisius Church and burial will be private.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech Street in Framingham.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to St. Jude Children’s research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, P.O. BOX 50, Memphis, TN 38173.
