Patricia R. “Rosie” Halloran, 82, a longtime resident of Framingham and now Hopkinton, died Thursday, June 1, 2023, surrounded by her family. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Henry & Doris (Dexter) Halloran.

Patti was a graduate of Framingham High School.  After graduation she began working in the banking field, starting with Framingham National in downtown Framingham, ending her career with Bank of America.

Patti loved being outdoors.  From planting her garden in the springtime, to the beaches of Cape Cod, particularly Cranes Beach. She enjoyed bowling, softball and was a diehard Boston sports fan. Happiness though, more often than not came in the form of time with her large extended family.

Patti is survived by her brother, Edward L. Halloran of Hopkinton, her best friend, Joan M. King of Hopkinton, her nephew, Richard F. Halloran Jr. & his wife Janet of Medway, her nieces, Regina M. Dunn & her husband Peter R. of Hopkinton, Deborah McBride & her husband Steven of Hopkinton, Carly Halloran of Hopkinton, and Jodie Baker & her husband Ryan of Hopkinton, 7 great nieces, and 6 great nephews.  She was predeceased by her brothers, Richard F. and Dennis J Halloran, and her nephew Michael V. Halloran.

Family and friends will honor and remember Patti’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Thursday, June 8th from 4-8PM. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Stephen Church, 251 Concord St. on Friday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will take place privately at a later date.
