MetroWest Health Foundation Approves $20,000 Grant for Ashland Childhood Vaccination
Clinic
Ashland, June 5, 2023 – The MetroWest Health Foundation is pleased to announce the approval
of a grant in the amount of $20,000.00 to the Ashland Health Department for the Ashland
Childhood Vaccination Clinic project. This grant is a result of the Ashland Board of Health’s
proposal submitted to the Foundation on March 28, 2023.
The grant funds will be available over a 12-month period, starting from June 1, 2023. The
Ashland Board of Health has agreed to comply with the terms and conditions outlined in the
Agreement to Grant Terms and Conditions. The grant must be used solely for the specified
project and related activities, and any other use requires prior written approval from the
Foundation.
Martin D. Cohen, President of the MetroWest Health Foundation, congratulated the Ashland
Board of Health on receiving the grant and expressed enthusiasm for collaborating on this
important endeavor. The Foundation looks forward to working closely with the department to
ensure the successful implementation of the Ashland Childhood Vaccination Clinic.
To facilitate communication and provide guidance, the MetroWest Health Foundation will be
hosting a meeting for new grantees on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 . at 1:00 PM at the Foundation
office. The Ashland Board of Health is requested to have project representatives attend this
meeting.
