Jennie J. (Frizzi) Scott, 97, a resident of Framingham, formerly of Londonderry, NH, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2023. Born and raised in East Boston, she was the loving daughter of Antonino and Maddalena (Terranova) Frizzi. She married her sweetheart, the late William J. Scott, of East Boston in 1950.
A graduate of Mansfield Beauty Academy, and a professional seamstress, Jennie loved style and design and created closets full of clothes for herself and her children. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and embroidery, was an excellent chef and avid puzzle and sports enthusiast.
Jennie is survived by her devoted children Robert Scott and wife Janet of Framingham, Darlyn Scott and husband Thomas Myers of Framingham, Janis Mark of Manchester, NH, and William Scott of Taunton; and beloved grandchildren Paul Mark, Jennie Ann Hanlon, Alexander, Hillary, Zachary, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Cynthia and Katherine Scott, and great grandchildren Aidan, Arion, Anakin Scott, and Andrew Hanlon.
Family and friends will honor and remember Jennie’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St., Framingham, on Sunday June 4th from 1-5pm. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning, June 5th in Saint Bridget Church, 830 Worcester Road, Framingham, at 10 o’clock. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
