Deborah L. (Spindler) Spada, 83, a longtime resident of Framingham, MA died Tuesday, May 16, 2023 unexpectedly. Born in Weymouth, MA, she was the daughter of the late William & Evelyn (Boudreau) Spindler, and the beloved wife of Thomas F. Spada.
Raised in Weymouth, MA, educated in the South Weymouth School System, she graduated from Weymouth High School with honors and then enrolled in and graduated from the Chandler School for Women’s Legal Secretary Program.
Professionally, Deborah worked for over 40 years as a Legal Secretary supporting Partners in both a large, prestigious Boston Law Firm and also, two local, reputable, boutique Law Firms of which she was most happy as she could balance her career with her utmost commitment to the care of her family.
Personally, Deborah was a great homemaker and a fantastic cook and enjoyed gatherings with her family and friends in Framingham, at Cape Cod and a winter home in Florida. She also wrote a Cookbook with her all-time favorite meals that many of her friends and family still use today. What made her most special to all that loved her was her deep ability to listen to others, give great advice and be a committed, loyal and kind Spouse, Mom and Best Friend. Her daughters will always remember her thoughtful words of life wisdom, her keen wit and being their biggest cheerleader!
Besides her husband Tom of sixty years, Deborah is survived by her daughter, Kristin L. Mann and her son-in-law, Brian Mann of Narragansett, RI and daughter, Tiffany L. Whitney and her grandchildren, Amelia L. Whitney and Julia L. Whitney of Grafton, MA. She was predeceased by her beloved younger sister Cheryl A. Spindler of Framingham, MA.
Her family have chosen to honor her privately at this time and as keeping with Deborah’s wishes, ask that friends remember her fondly as she was in life with special memories of good times shared.
