1 I have been writing 5 things columns on weekdays since December 1, 2010. First with the Framingham Patch, and then with Framingham SOURCE starting in April 2016. Today is my last 5 Things column.

SOURCE will move from a journalistic news site to a community bulletin board on Monday, May 1.

Also on Monday, May 1, I will begin a new job as the City’s spokesperson and Public Information Officer, responsible for all municipal communications except Police.

Day-to-day operation of the SOURCE will turn over to JVF Solutions and its owner James Feudo this weekend.

2. The Alliance for MetroWest Unity is delighted to announce eleven local John P. Garrahan Leadership in Diversity Awards today.

4.  Tonight is the 2nd Annual Framingham High Hall of Fame alumni induction ceremony. Seven individuals will be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Tickets are no longer available. Learn about the honorees by clicking here.

5. Today is Arbor Day. Yesterday, Framingham DPW employees and Keefe Tech students planted new trees and pruned existing trees at Cushing Memorial Park. SOURCE will have a post with photos later.
