Framingham Defeats Hopkinton 4-3

FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High softball team hosted Hopkinton today, April 21.

The Flyers won 4-3

Framingham is now 5-3 overall and 1-2 in the Bay State Conference.

Senior Johnna Maloney pitched 4 scoreless innings and went 1-3 at the plate, scoring the go ahead run in the bottom of the 6th inning.

Senior centerfielder Julia Matz was 2-4 with an RBI double to drive in Maloney.

Senior catcher Lily Novak has 3 RBIs and went 1-3 at the plate. 

Senior shortstop Amber Welch was 1-3 with 2 runs scored.

Sophomore Kayla Goodridge pitched the last 3 innings in relief.
