MILFORD – The Framingham High softball team defeated Milford High on the road today, April 20.

The final score was 6-5 Flyers.

Flyers were down 4-0 after 5 innings and scored 2 in the sixth, and 4 runs in the top of 7th inning.

The Flyers then held off a late rally by Milford in the bottom of the seventh to take the win.

Sophomore Kayla Goodridge pitched the full 7 innings with 11 strike outs and gave up 7 hits. At the plate, she was 1-3 with an RBI double.

Senior catcher Lily Novak went 3-4 with an RBI and 2 runs scored.

Senior shortstop Hannah Hoffman hit a clutch RBI single in the top of the 7th with 2 outs to drive in 2 runs to put the Flyers up 6-4.

Additionally, senior 2B Jane Faulk had an RBI and senior Gigi Patruno was 2-4 at the plate. 

The Flyers are now 4-3 overall, and 1-2 in the Bay State Conference.

Framingham hosts Hopkinton High on Friday, April 21, at 11 a.m.
