FRAMINGHAM – Grace Stout, age 82, of Framingham Massachusetts (formerly of Needham) passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday April 16, 2023.

Grace was a beloved mother, grandmother, and devoted wife of 50 years, whose strength of character was admired by all who knew her.

Grace spent many years working as head of housekeeping at a variety of geriatric facilities in the Framingham/Natick area. During this time, she worked hard to ensure the comfort and care of the residents. She was always proud of her work.

In her younger years, she was a member of the Red Hat Society, enjoying outings spent with her peers.

Grace was a social butterfly who enjoyed socializing with her friends and listening to music. She particularly enjoyed dancing & singing. She was always up for a party!

In her quiet moments, you could find her whistling a tune and unwinding with a glass of wine and some Chinese food.

She enjoyed spending time outdoors. Always finding time to go camping, snowmobiling, or motorcycling with her late husband, Johnny, and their many friends in New Hampshire. Stories from these adventures became staples at holiday gatherings and were always shared with excitement and humor.

She will be greatly missed.

Grace is survived by her daughters, Kathy O’Hayre & Marilyn Kreider; her granddaughters, Shannon O’Hayre and Em Kreider; and her grandson, Cullen O’Hayre.

She is predeceased by her husband, Johnny Stout & her daughter, April Stout.

At Grace’s request, services will be private, but memorial contributions may be sent to your preferred charity of choice.
