FRAMINGHAM – Robert G. Deloury Jr., 71, a longtime resident of Framingham, died peacefully on Monday, April 17, 2023 at his home.

Bob was the loving husband of Maureen (Gibbons) Deloury of Framingham for 43 years.  He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Fotos and her husband Andrew of Framingham as well as his cherished granddaughter, Nora Fotos. He is also survived by his sister, Jean Rousseau and her husband Joe of Framingham as well as many in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late June Tivnan and Paul Deloury. He was the son of the late Robert G. and Margaret (Barry) Deloury.

Bob worked at Verizon for 35 years in a variety of different roles – that is where he and Maureen met. 

He loved golf and was a long-time member of Marlborough Country Club.

He fought a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease and at the end received support from fantastic aides – Humphrey, Florence, Anita, and Dennis.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St., (corner of Union Ave.) Framingham.

His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM in St. Anselm’s Church, 100 Landham Rd. Sudbury. 

A private burial will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to aid in finding a cure of Parkinson’s Disease to the Michael J. Fox Foundation www.michaeljfox.org
