FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High girls varsity lacrosse team won its home opener today, April 3 at Phil Read Field.

The Flyers defeated Arlington High 17-7.

The girls are now 1-1 on the season.

Jess Garcia led the scoring with 7 goals, including her 100th career goal.

Sophie Perlman had 5 goals and 2 assists. 

The Flyers had great ball movement with goals from 7 different players. 

On the defensive side, Maddie Rieder had 3 caused turnovers, along with strong team defense. 

Mason Puumala had a good game in net with 7 saves.
