FRAMINGHAM – Framingham is taking over Polar Park on April 27.

Mayor Charlie Sisitsky will throw out the first pitch at the Woo Sox game on Thursday, April 27.

The Worcester Red Sox (WooSox) will host the Scranton Wilkes Barre RailRiders.

Game starts at 6:45 p.m.

Each ticket purchased through this link will benefit the Metrowest YMCA, as well as contribute towards Framingham’s standing in the 2023 WooSox “Town Takeover” competition.

Residents of Framingham will be heavily featured in the pregame ceremonies and throughout the ballgame.

Each ticket includes $2 of ballpark credit that can be used on concessions or merchandise.

Worcester Red Sox are doing 23 community takeover games. Residents from each town will be featured in their respective pregame ceremonies and tickets purchased for each “Town Takeover” night will benefit a non-profit from that town.

At the end of the season, the town with the largest turnout will be rewarded with a trophy and special recognition!
