FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police are investigating a theft of a wallet in which the thief charged about $2,400 on credit cards.

A woman reported her purse stolen at TJ Maxx at 1 Worcester Road in Shoppers world on March 19 at 5:04 p.m.

“A wallet was stolen from a purse and several purchases were made on the credit cards for approximately $2400,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. rachel Mickens.

“Suspect described as a black male, mid 40’s-earl6 50’s, 6’ 2”, large build, wearing black hat, black sunglasses, black long sleeve shirt, jeans and carrying a black puffy coat,” said Lt. Mickens.
