ASHLAND – Ashland Police promoted Larry Rodkey to Sergeant and Michael Vinciulla to the rank of Lieutenant.

A small ceremony was held this past week with Ashland Police Chief Cara Rossi and Ashland Town Manager Michael Herbert.

The Town of Ashland said a more formal promotional ceremony will be held a later date.

Sgt. Rodkey began his journey with the Ashland Police Department as a dispatcher in 2016 and was appointed as a full-time Police Officer in 2018.

Lieutenant Vinciulla began his career with the Ashland Police Department in 2004 as a permanent intermittent Police Officer and was hired a few months later as a full-time officer.

In early 2020, Lt. Vinciulla was promoted to the rank of sergeant.

Since that time. Lt. Vinciulla has handled many of the administrative duties within the department and has been an integral part of the development of the new Public Safety Building, including the transfer of dispatch and the Police Department to the new facility on Union Street.
