BOSTON – The National Weather Service Boston/Norton is forecasting slick weather conditions on road ways tonight, February 25.

An area of steady snow focused across interior Massachusetts will result in slippery travel for the remainder of the afternoon and evening,

Up to 1″ of snow accumulation is expected…but some localized 2″ amounts are possible across parts of southwest Massachusetts.

Given the very cold temperatures, the snow will continue to stick on roadways resulting in slippery travel along with reduced visibility.

The bulk of the steady snow should come to an end by early evening.

Motorists are urged to drive with extra caution and expect snow covered and slippery roads across this region.
