BOSTON – The National Weather Service is forecasting another 1-2 inches of snow possibly today, February 26.

Light snow will develop late this morning lasting into the afternoon along with potential for heavy snow showers late this afternoon and evening.

Accumulations will be light on the order of 1-2 inches bringing slick travel this afternoon and evening and potential for reduced visibility in heavy snow showers.

On Tuesday, a pair of low pressure systems with one passing south of Cape Cod and the other through the St Lawrence Valley will bring light to moderate snow to the area.

Several inches of snow are possible bringing slick travel to both the morning and evening commute.

Forecast for MetroWest is for a half foot of snow.
