FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police arrested an Ashland man yesterday morning on multiple motor vehicle violation, including operating a vehicle on a suspended license.

Police arrested at 10:36 a.m. on February 1, Adilson Barbosa, 44, of 46 Fountain Street of Ashland.

He was charged with operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with no inspection sticker, operating a motor vehicle with tire thread depth violation, and two warrants.

“Barbosa was operating a vehicle with an inspection sticker that was expired by several years,” said Lt. Rachel Mickens.

“The vehicle had a cracked windshield and the tire tread was significantly worn,” said Lt. Mickens.

“The officer estimated he was going 45-50 miles per hour in a 25 mph zone,” said the Police spokesperson.

Barbosa “was operating on a suspended license and the vehicle was not registered,” said Lt. Mickens.

He also had warrants out of Holliston and Wellesley, added the Police spokesperson.
