FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Police Department promoted Christopher K. Eliadi to lieutenant this morning, February 2, in a ceremony at Nevins Hall in the Memorial Building.
His wife Tina pinned his badge on him during the ceremony. In the audience were their three daughters – Lily, Brooke and Summer.
Eliadi was a graduate of the 6th M.P.O.C. Boylston Academy in 2000. Upon graduating from the police academy he worked as a dispatcher and police officer for the Town of Shrewsbury from 2000 to 2006.

In 2006, he transferred to the Framingham Police Department. His assignments as a patrolman included: field training officer, SWAT team operator, background investigator, Pelham housing officer and the secretary/treasurer of the Patrolmen Union.
In 2017, he was promoted to the rank of sergeant. As a sergeant, he has been a patrol supervisor on the midnight shift and has been the acting commanding officer on the midnight shift.
Lt. Eliardi has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts- Dartmouth and a Masters degree from Anna Maria College.
More than 100 individuals attended the ceremony, which added five new officers, promoted two officers to sergeant and Eliardi to lieutenant.
Mayor Charlie Sisitsky spoke as did Framingham Police Chief Lester Baker.
City Council Chair Phil Ottaviani Jr., Vice Chair Janet Leombruno, and District 4 City Councilor Michael Cannon also attended the ceremony.
