Framingham High Gymnastics Team Defeats Tigers in Season Opener

HOLLISTON – The Framingham High co-ed gymnastics team defeated the Tigers of Newton North High in their season & home opener at Shen’s Gymnastics in Holliston tonight, January 10.

Framingham won 140 to 135.25

Senior captain Kevin Theodoro finished first in the vault (9.6), first in the balance beam (9.1) and first in the floor exercises (9.75).

He also was first overall.

Senior captain Olivia Jones finished second on the vault (9.2), third in the uneven bars (9.35) and third on the balance beam (8.9)

Junior Maggie Spring was second on the uneven bars (9.4), second on the beam (9.0) and third in her floor exercises at 9.1

Framingham will battle Bay State Conference rival Natick High on Monday, January 16 at noon at Gym Express in Natick.
