FRAMINGHAM – Keefe Technical’s girls junior varsity basketball team won a game and lost a game this week.

The Broncos, who don’t have a varsity team, are now 4-1 overall.

On Wednesday, Keefe Tech defeated Monty Tech 49-37.

Schlonande Gelin scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds

Maggie Steiner scored 9 points.

“She had her best game of her career as she set the tone for us early and was our most consistent player,” said Head Coach Ken Collins.

“Zuheily Rivera was a spark off the bench and had a huge second half where she scored 10 points,” said Coach Collins. “As a freshman, she had a breakout game.”

On Wednesday, Keefe Tech defeated Monty Tech 49-37.

On Friday, January 6, the Broncos lost their first game of the season to AMSA 36-26.

“It was a definitely a game where there are lesson to learn as we move forward,” said Coach Collins.

Steiner had 10 points and Gelin knocked in 8 points.

“Bino Silva had 13 rebounds and was our best and most active player,” said Coach Collins. “Bino also chipped in with 6 points.”

Broncos are back in action Monday, January 9 at Hopedale.
