WALPOLE – The Framingham High girls basketball team lost to the Timberwolves of Walpole High on the road tonight, January 6.

Final score was 62-47 Walpole.

“The first half was a great performance from both teams. We came out strong and seemed to have an answer to every Walpole basket,” said Flyers head coach Kristen Fucarile.

“Going into half we were tied 24-24, after an explosive half from senior Katie Regan who led us with 13 points,” said the Flyers head coach.

“Third quarter senior Selina Monestime chimed in with 6 quick baskets, as we started to slip behind Walpole,” said Coach Fucarile.

Phenomenal game by senior co-captain Regan, who finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds, said Coach Fucarile.

Monestime had 12 points and 5 steals as a solid contributor as well, said the head coach.

Up next for the Flyers is a road game against Brookline High on Tuesday.
