ASHLAND – Gerald Wayne Grant, 72, of Ashland passed away Sunday, January 1, 20223, at his home after a period of declining health. 

He was the husband of the late Beverly (Fuller) Grant who died in 2019. 

Jerry worked for 23 years as a Maintenance Technician for the Sisters of St. Joseph. 

He served his country honorably during the Vietnam War as a SGT in the Air Force from 1969-73.

Gerald is survived by his children; Dawn Bovenzi and her husband Robert of Bellingham; Darin Macumber and his wife Brenda of Framingham; and Heather Grant-George and her husband Nikki of Ashland; Alethia Grainger and her husband Chris of Framingham and Tamu Ronco and her husband Ryan of Florida;  sister, Connie Martin and her husband Ken of Prince Edward Island, brothers, Blair Grant and his wife Pat of Prince Edward Island, and Gordon Grant and his wife Nancy of Waltham, MA, six grandchildren, Sara Miller, Michael Macumber, Curtis Brown, Clifford Brown, Tora Schulman, and Christian Ash, and three great-grandchildren, Kloee Grigg, Kiera Shulman, and Nova Brown. 

 Services are private.
