NATICK – Rosemary (Boland) Fandel, 97, of Natick and Edgartown, Massachusetts, died Wednesday, December 17, 2022.

She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas R. “Herman” Fandel, having shared 73 years of marriage together.

She was born in Glasgow, Scotland the daughter of the late Edward & Mary (MacGallogly) Boland.

She is survived by her five children: Kathleen Horton and her husband Fred of Higganum, CT., Anne Marie Fryer and her late husband Francis of Medfield, Mary Purcell and her husband Robert of Rochester Hills, MI., Christa Fandel, MD and her husband Paul Trainer, MD of Pittsburgh, PA, and Thomas R. Fandel Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Morristown, NJ. She was predeceased by her sister Elizabeth Hull. The Fandel’s have thirteen grandchildren: Rachael (Horton) Erwin and her husband Jerry; Jacob E. Horton; William C. Fryer and his wife Stephanie Simon; Nicholas R., Catherine M., Timothy T., Amanda R. and Melinda E. Purcell; Adam and Annie Trainer; Molly, Thomas and Jeremy Fandel; two great grandchildren: Ashley (Erwin) English and her husband Matthew, and Sean Erwin; and two great-great grandchild, Connor Jeffrey & Liam James English.

A private service was held at Glenwood Cemetery in Natick.
