Originally Police said “Williams had an exchange with a co-worker and is alleged to have taken out a handgun and threatened this individual.”

But no firearm was recovered.

“After further investigation into the allegations that Deshawn Williams displayed a firearm threatening his co-worker,  we have concluded that he was not in possession of a firearm. This information was gathered as a result of a Search Warrant at Williams’s residence as well as further interviews of witnesses,” said Framingham Deputy Police Chief Sean Riley to SOURCE Friday morning, December 23.

“Due to these findings we reached out to Framingham District Court and had the charge of Possession of a Firearm dropped prior to his arraignment.  Williams is only being charged with threats to commit a crime and assault,” said Deputy Chief Riley.
