FRAMINGHAM – Gregory M. Fistetto II, age 88, of Framingham, died, Monday, December 12, 2022.

Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Gregory M. Fistetto I and Augusta (Renzi) Fistetto.

Gregory worked for 26 years for M&G Convoy, a car carrier company for Chrysler Automobile Co., until his retirement at the age of 55.

Prior to retiring, Gregory enjoyed deer hunting with friends and co-workers, summers with family at Wells Beach, Maine, and annual family camping trips all over the United States and Canada.

After retiring, he enjoyed his condo in Naples, Florida, taking photographs, shopping for bargains, disco dancing into his early 80’s, and especially dear to him was spending time with his children and two little granddogs, who he absolutely adored.

Gregory is survived by his children, Gregory M. Fistetto III of Framingham, and Therese DiBara of North Chelmsford, granddogs Buster and Vinnie; and former wife Virginia Schmidt of Framingham.  He is also survived by his sister Dorothy Ranno of Spring, Texas, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a time of visitation on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech Street, Framingham, from 10:30 to 11 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the MSPCA or ASPCA, or the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
