FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police arrested a man on multiple assault with a dangerous weapon charges, after he tried to stab individuals at Stop & Shop & Target on Thursday afternoon.
Framingham Police responded to Target yesterday, December 8, for a disturbance at 2:54 p.m.
At 3:23 p.m. Police arrested Sean N. Pelfrey, 44, who is listed in the public police log as having no known address in Framingham.
Pelfrey was charged with two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon (knife), intimidation assault, and resisting arrest.

“Pelfrey began yelling at a male outside of Stop and Shop, and then pulled a knife out threatening to stab him,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.
“He then had a similar incident outside of Target where he began yelling at a group of individuals, pulled out a knife, and began chasing them,” said Lt. Mickens to SOURCE.
“He was located outside of Target by officers where he took up a fighting stance with them and resisted being placed under arrest,” said Lt. Mickens.
When arrested, Pelfrey was found in possession of a knife, said Lt. Mickens
