Student Senate is the official voice of full-time students and is comprised of representatives from each class, each of the Colleges, commuter and resident students. Student Senate serves as a liaison between students, faculty, and the administration of the Univeristy and appoints representatives to sit on joint committees of the Faculty Senate in order to encourage cooperation and foster joint decision-making. Student Senate’s main goal is to reach out to the undergraduate population and let their comments, concerns, opinions, and voices be heard.
