FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham Parks & Recreation swim team will re-emerge this winter.

With the Keefe Technical High School pool closed, the Framingham Frogs will swim at the Atkinson Pool in Sudbury.

Practices will be Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

With no Framingham pool, the cost for the program has significantly increased to $560 per swimmer.

The previous cost was $250 per Framingham swimmer.

In 2019, the cost per Framingham swimmer was $135.

That is more than a 300% increase.

There is financial assistance available for Framingham families, said Parks & Recreation at this meeting.

Non-resident swimmers can join the team at $585, said Parks & Recreation.

The season runs from November 2022 to March 2023.

Registration will open this month.
