BOSTON – The Framingham High girls soccer team defeated Boston Latin on the road Saturday, October 8.

The Flyers won 2-0.

The Flyers got on the scoreboard 15 minutes into the game.

The game-winning goal came off a defender’s deflection of a shot taken by Gabby Arpino.

Early in the second half, Ava Lombardo scored on a drive after, receiving a header pass from Summer Haarala.

Framingham strong defense was led by freshman Ava Callahan and senior Natalie Kirkpatrick.

Goalie Lilly Vermilya easily scooped up all the Boston latin shots to secure the shut out.

The Flyers head to Skyline Field on Tuesday, October 11 for a game against Brookline High.
