WESTFIELD – The Framingham State University women’s cross country team was back on the course with a strong showing this morning finishing 12th at the James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State University.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS: 

  • Emily Newcomb led the Rams completing the 5K course in a time of 20:02 which was good enough for 27th place.
  • Meghan Johnston was the next Ram to complete the course finishing with a time of 20:38 which placed her just outside the top 50. 
  • Camille Carvalho and Olivia Poole followed for the Rams at 21:07 and 21:27 respectively. 
  • Rounding out the top seven for the Rams were Kelsey Gendreau (22:12), Amanda Bedard (22:22), Elizabeth Dykstra (22:33) and Jemma DePasquale (23:15). 

The Rams are back in action on October 15, when they travel to Springfield for the Western New England Invitational.
