NATICK – The Town of Natick began advertising for a Highway /Sanitation Division Supervisor in its Department of Public Works. 

This position provides professional management of the Town’s highway maintenance and sanitation collection programs.

Under the direction of the Director of Public Works, the position oversees the combined Highway /Sanitation Division with a staff of 28 employees.  Development and implementation of short and long range plans for the division.  Responds to all emergencies that involve the Department of Public Works at DPW facility or town-wide.

This is a full-time exempt position and is part of the Supervisors’ & Administrators’ Union- Local 272.  

The salary range is $85,126 to $101,982, depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualified candidates will have a 4-year college degree in a related field (or equivalent experience) and Six years of progressive experience in the maintenance of roadways, sidewalks, and storm water drainage systems; experience managing winter snow /ice removal programs. Candidates need experience in providing municipal collection of solid waste and recycling.
