WAYLAND – Eliza Juliet Norton, 10, died on September 21, 2022.

She was the beloved daughter of Julie J. (Jackson) Norton and Mark A. Norton of Wayland. Sister of Jenna L. Norton and Teddy W. Norton. Granddaughter of Ginny M. Jackson and Thomas W. Jackson of Medway, Gary A. Norton and step-granddaughter of Jade Norton both of Wappingers Falls, New York.

She was the niece of Joanna Jackson of Boston; Dennis Norton and his wife Sara of Wappingers Falls, New York and Greg Norton, his wife Erin and their son Adam all of Hopkinton. Eliza is also survived by her extended loving family and countless friends.

Eliza was a bright light, with a warm, effervescent spirit, who exuded love and empathy. Anyone who invested time, attention, caring or love into Eliza, received it back many times over. She will be lovingly remembered for her sharp sense of humor, fierce competitive spirit, boundless energy and exceptional cuddles. Eliza was happiest at home with her family, feeling the scratch of her skates on the ice or basking in the sun, wind, sand and sea at the beach. Her time here was short, but her reach was long. Providing wholesome lessons to us all about determination, love, and commitment to others.

Visitations will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 3 to 6 p. at Good Shepherd Parish at ST. Ann Catholic Church, 134 Cochituate Road (Rt, 27), Wayland.

Eliza’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 11 am at St. Ann Church. The funeral Mass will be livestreamed – please visit Good Shepherd Wayland for more information.

Arrangements by Bryant Funeral Home.
