Gov. Baker Issues Citations To Ashland Housing Authority

ASHLAND – Governor Charlie Baker honored the efforts and years of dedicated service of the Ashland Housing Authority with citations.

In the past few years, the Ashland Housing Authority, a Commonwealth run state agency, has rehabbed the entire property, established reserves, obtained and secured grants from ABCD and ARPA funding and stability grants to upgrade the property and residents units.

The Housing Authority also guided the residents through the Covid pandemic with no reported cases and hosted COVID vaccine clinics and procured vaccines for residents and additional vaccines for the Town of Ashland.

The board is also aggressively working towards building more units to serve to urgent need of more affordable housing.
