1 Both the main Framingham Public Library and the Christa McAuliffe Library branch are closed today for staff training. Both libraries will re-open on Tuesday, September 6, after the labor day holiday weekend.

2. Today is the last day for early voting at the Memorial Building for the Massachusetts primary election on September 6. The Memorial Building will be open until 2 p.m. for early voting.

3. Today is the first day of classes at Framingham State University.

4. September is Self Care Awareness Month. Take some time this long holiday weekend for yourself.

5. There are no FLYERS in action today. Yesterday, the boys soccer team had a scrimmage against Acton-Boxborough High at the new Fuller Middle turf field. The Flyers have another scrimmage on Saturday, September 3 at 11 a.m. at the new turf field.
