1 Framingham Police announced this morning, “as a result of an investigation, the MetroWest Drug Task Force executed search warrants this week. One warrant resulting in the seizure of 169 grams fentanyl, 80 grams cocaine, 23 oxycodone pills, $3,000 and a firearm. Another warrant resulting in the seizure of over 1,400 grams of fentanyl in both powder and pill form.”

2. Framingham Fire will hold an open house tonight for prospective new firefighters.

3. There is less than 2 weeks until the Massachusetts primary election on September 6.

Early voting begins this Saturday at the Memorial Building.

5. There are tours of Framingham High this morning and Thursday morning for incoming freshmen.

Framingham High schedules are now delayed until next week. School starts August 31.

The Framingham Public Schools is short 17 bus drivers for its 77 routes. Some students will not get a seat on a bus this school year announced the district earlier this month. Bus assignments went out yesterday, August 23.
